Unless otherwise checked or requested on page three (3) of the service contract, the design and produce used for a charcuterie service will be by Brittney’s judgment and taste.
30% of the monetary amount owed is due as a deposit to book any charcuterie service, and must be paid by either cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal.
Any remaining balance owed is due to Brittney on or before the day of my service, and I must pay this amount by either cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal. Any remaining balance must be paid either before Brittney leaves drop-off or before I leave pick-up. Paying after drop-off/pick-up is not an option.
Any notice of cancellation given to Brittney two (2) days or less before my service date will result in any deposit/amount I paid non-refundable whether payment made was in-full or in-part for my charcuterie service. Any notice of cancellation given three (3) to six (6) days before a service date will be 50% refundable whether payment made was in-full or in-part for my charcuterie service, and any notice of cancellation given at least seven (7) days in advance of a service date will be fully refundable.
I am responsible for clean-up and returning all charcuterie accessories/boards provided for my use undamaged within three (3) days after my event. If more days are needed due to an emergency/unforeseen circumstance or you would like to make a different arrangement, please coordinate with Brittney ahead of time. Please gently wash the board with soap and water before returning! For every day that accessories/boards are not returned to Brittney after the three (3) day period or other agreed upon arrangement, a $5 fee will be added to your invoice and must be paid by cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal.
If any of the accessories/boards provided for my use are damaged or lost while in my possession that I am obligated to pay a damage/loss reimbursement by cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal up to Brittney’s discretion upon her inspection of the damaged item or after providing her notice of the lost item. Payment for damage/loss must be made to Brittney within three (3) days after notice of amount owed. For every day that payment for damage/loss is late, a $5 fee will be tacked on to the reimbursement and must be paid by cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal.
Respect is everything! I understand that Brittney reserves the right to cancel services and void this agreement at any time due to customer conduct without refund of amounts paid whether the service was paid in-full or in-part. No hostile or offensive behavior whether verbal or physical will be tolerated.
Brittney Smith d/b/a B.C. Charcuterie is not a formed business recognized by the State of Texas, Better Business Bureau accredited, monitored by the Texas Health Department, or possesses Vendor Insurance.
Brittney (Meaux) Smith possesses a food-handler license through Texas Health & Human Services and will use her knowledge possessed through the program to ensure recommended hygiene & food practices are implemented.
